Workshops & Presenters

Carrie Goodman
Founder of SOAR
Opening Ceremony:
Gratitude Meditation with Reiki Healing
Friday @ 8pm
I’m this session I will share a practice to invite more of whatever you are wanting into your life and then guide a meditation session with the focus on gratitude.
I will close the session with a Reiki healing. Reiki connects us with the life force energy which flows through us thereby nourishing the body and cells and opening blocked passageways freeing whatever is ready to be released.
During this presentation, you will need space to either lie or sit down comfortably. Some people prefer to meditate seated on a chair, some prefer to sit on the ground on a cushion while others prefer to lie down. Please have available whatever you need to be comfortable.
Closing Full Moon Ceremony:
Monday @ 8pm
In this session, we will draw upon the sacred Full Moon energy AND the eclipse. Participants will be invited to release limiting beliefs while invoking new and expanding beliefs all of which will be amplified by the energy of the full moon.
This ceremony will invite transformation and deep change in the subconscious by inviting participants to step into their power and tap into the subconscious.
Please have the following available for the ceremony:
- Candle and matches/lighter
- Fireproof bowl filled with water to place burning paper
- 6 pieces of paper and pen
- Shaker/drum/instrument of choice
- Glass/vessel of water to charge by moonlight
- Sage/palo santo/incense to clear space, you can also use sound (such as a clap, singing bowl), energetic intention
- Altar (optional) — You may have a sacred cloth, crystals, tarot cards, anything that represents something of meaning to YOU, anything from nature

Valerie Parisi
Self-Belly Massage For Women
Friday @ 8:30pm
Ever felt “sick to your stomach” when you are worried? Or “butterflies in your belly” when nervous or excited? The abdominal area is our emotional center of energy.
In this workshop, Valerie will teach you a self belly massage that you can do at home. These powerful techniques will help release emotions that are stored in the belly and will create space to face the rest of the year with renewed optimism.
Here’s what you’ll want to prep before the workshop:
- Have some massage oil ready
- Loose pants/ skirts or underwear as we will be working on the under belly as well.
- A towel for the oil stains
- A pillow to keep your head in an upright position as we will be laying down on the bed or a cushioned mat.
- A laptop so you can have your hands free while laying down. / alternatively an iPad or phone could work as well but have something behind so it can stay in an upright position so you can still watch the video
About Valerie Parisi
Valerie’s life changed forever when she found this ancient abdominal healing massage. Following an operation, she developed post-traumatic stress syndrome. She tried many mainstream health services and began to feel like nothing was going to truly help her feel healthy and at peace.
She decided to go on a worldwide search for a “cure” – and finally came across an Ancient Taoist Abdominal Massage. She felt the benefits of the practise immediately and soon she was almost completely free of her symptoms.
The profound healing qualities she found in this Abdominal healing Art inspired her to make it her life mission to become a master at the practise and to share it with others. She studied with Abdominal massage masters across the world and helped to make similar life-changing-shifts in others with her private sessions.
In 2012, after years of intense study and countless hours of private sessions – with nearly all her clients reporting ground-breaking life changes she opened her own school – training others to make an even bigger impact in the world.
Her school, Tao Valley, has now trained over hundreds Chi Core Release practitioners.

Malgorzata Kosmala
Gong Bath Relaxation
Saturday @ 12pm
The intention of the session is to reconnect with our deep core and listen to the whispers of our soul while immersed in sonic vibration.
The vibration of the gong is one of the methods for reducing stress. The gong creates an ocean of sound that is profoundly relaxing; a state which activates the parasympathetic nervous system to balance the over-amped, sympathetic nervous system.
Some people describe their experience of gong bath like being in the mother womb, under the ocean or like floating in space. The sound of the gong gently reverberates over, around and through the entire body to calm, relax and soothe.
I am inviting you to create a cosy nest, a safe space where you could lie down, wrap up in a blanket and receive without any distraction. If you wish you can light a candle with an intention for your journey.
If you have never experienced a Gong Bath this is a great opportunity to try. Good quality headphones are recommended for a better experience.
The whole session will last 45min.
About Malgorzata Kosmala
Malgorzata has been a student of body and energy work for years, exploring different modalities such as Yoga, Qigong, 5 Rhythms, Movement Medicine, sound and vibrational medicine.

João Paulo Pereira
Breath. Awareness. Strength. Alignment.
Sunday @ 8am
It is that simple. BASA is grounded in Hatha Yoga practices, and draws in distilled wisdom from complementary lineages – Pilates, Qi Kong, Shou Shu, and AcroYoga. How these discipline and play practices intertwine create an uprightness in both physical and emotional bodies, boosting both physical and emotional health.
Potency in breath practices builds effortless posture. Awareness is cultivated through meditation techniques and mindful movement. This is the foundation for embodying strength through asana, intuitive flow and even connective partner practices. Alignment is the piece that allows for prana – life force – to move and increase.
About João Paulo Pereira
Just one moment of grace can be the gateway to a lifetime of yoga practice. For me, that moment was witnessing the cleansing ritual of nauli (rolling of the internal organs) at the age of 17 with my first yoga teacher, Teresa Milanez.
Since then, I have steeped myself in the interdisciplinary practices of asana, yoga philosophy, kirtan, acrobatics, and anatomy – – learning breath, awareness, strength, and alignment through many powerful modalities I found along the journey.
This curiosity led me to become certified in multiple lineages and methods of movement, mindfulness, and play – Hatha Yoga, AcroYoga, ThaiVedic Yoga, Swasthya Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Pilates.
Through teaching classes, immersions, and trainings in Brazil, Argentina, California, France and Indonesia for the last 15 years, I remain as curious as I was that first day with my root teacher.

Trevor Rj Noble
Sound Healing/ Meditation for the Heart & Soul
Sunday @ 10am
Like many others, I discovered my passion for healing as a result of personal experience. In the early 1980’s I trained for 2 years as a Spiritual healer and started my own healing practice. This led me to being invited to Washington DC. The people from the hospice were amazed by the difference that my healing sessions made.
As the years went by I trained in many other therapies, building and growing my practice. This allowed me to specialise in therapeutic massage for back and neck pain, reflexology for infertility, bodywork for releasing and unwinding emotional pain as well as E.F.T. & emotrance.
It was at this point that I introduced sound bowls and vibrational therapy into my practice. I owned and ran a holistic retreat in the New Forest (UK) for some years.
Eventually, my passion for sound healing lead me to expand my practice, though living and teaching in Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam and New Zealand.

Yasmeen Hossain
2020: A Spiritual Take on this Chaotic Year ++ World Healing Meditation
Sunday @ 3pm
This has been a rough year – for us individually and collectively as a global community. What is the spiritual meaning? Is there a lesson for us to learn? How do we transcend this chaos?
In this workshop, we will explore the answers to these questions and join forces in a transcendence journey/meditation inviting devas of our plant kingdom, spirit animals, elemental earth guardians, and our soul essence to co-create healing for our earth and all that reside on it.
About Yasmeen Hossain
I descend from a long line of palm readers and astrologers from my father’s Bangladeshi/Indian lineage and herbalists/wise women from my mother’s German/Polish lineage. You could say the healing arts are quite literally in my blood.
I studied extensively with a fantastic, powerful medical intuitive in Alaska, in addition to a shaman, worked with at-risk youth, guided yoga and meditation classes, and have worked in the field of trauma prevention and recovery.
My skill set includes open-hearted communication/non-violent communication, somatic tracking, empowerment coaching, workshop facilitation and mentoring of newly spiritually-awakened beings.
I believe that everyone deserves compassion, empathy, and unconditional love. We all deserve to be heard, feel valid and empowered in our own lives.
Let’s be the change that will make the world a better place by starting with ourselves – investing the energy and time into finding love, forgiveness, and healing for ourselves, so that we may radiate it into the world around us. That may well be the most effective way to heal our world!
